Chapter 10: Construction of geometric objects

10.1 Introduction

In this chapter, you will learn how to construct different lines, angles and shapes. You will use different drawing instruments, such as a ruler, a pair of compasses and a protractor. Through the various constructions, you will investigate some of the properties of triangles and quadrilaterals. You will discover properties that hold true for all triangles and also learn about two special types of triangles. You will also investigate the properties of different quadrilaterals.

You can use a compass to construct beautiful shapes and patterns.
